Speech therapist

During my studies, I specialized in speech therapy and pedagogy for learning disabilities. Promoting the language development of young children became my focus area during my vocational training in Pécs. The experiences I gathered there, I now apply in my work with adolescents and adults as well. Speech therapy and articulation therapy play a significant role in this. For me, the profession has become a passion.

What should parents pay attention to in their children? When should one consult a specialist? If you notice that your child has uneven teeth, that their tongue occasionally protrudes from the mouth, that they have developed mouth breathing, or that they eat "poorly," and moreover, they have used a bottle or pacifier for a long time, it is worth seeking professional advice.

Attention should be given to symptoms such as incorrect and irregular swallowing, as they can lead to biting issues, dental anomalies, and speech disorders. In addition to orthodontic treatment, therapy is recommended to achieve a lasting result.

In my previous therapy sessions, I have also aimed to create a motivating and positive atmosphere, helping children and their parents build trust in the therapy. I have found that this consistently increases their motivation for the next session, and I have succeeded in building a relationship with the parents, which is essential for providing them with ongoing information about the child's condition, development, and the exercises crucial for achieving this goal

I welcome everyone, regardless of age, who has a tongue thrust, swallowing, or articulation problem!
