Siofok – the capital of Lake Balaton

Siófok is often called the “capital of Lake Balaton”. A picturesque town on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, directly on the largest freshwater lake in Hungary, which is also known as the “Hungarian Sea”. With its crystal clear waters and lively atmosphere, Siófok is the perfect destination for those seeking relaxation and adventure.

Its crystal clear waters stretch as far as the eye can see and offer a wide range of water sports such as swimming, sailing, rowing and windsurfing. Sun worshippers can enjoy the sun on the beaches along the shore. Siofok not only offers a wonderful location by the lake, but also a lively town centre with many restaurants, cafés and shops.

Siofok is a popular holiday resort in Hungary with a population of around 35,000, which grows by another 200,000 people during the summer season.

Above the dental clinic, there are 6 apartments. The building is equipped with a lift and is barrier-free. The apartments are equipped with kitchen, TV, internet, private bathroom. For those arriving with their own car, there is a closed parking space in the courtyard.

When arranging your trip, you will have the opportunity to:

– arrive by car or public transport

o by car: our patients have the possibility to park their vehicles in a secure, locked parking space in the back of the clinic.

o public transport: for this, the train and bus stops are located within 20 metres of the clinic. From Budapest Kelenföld to Siofok it is a 1 hour trip (Exit city center).

– There is also the possibility to use the travel arrangements organised by the clinic.

o shuttle service: if you live near the Hungarian border and are not within flying distance, you can use our shuttle service, which will pick you up in the nearest city.

o Flight ticket: we can book and organise your flight. In this case, we can arrange airport transfers from Budapest Airport to Siofok or Siofok to Budapest Airport.
