Dóra Radvánszki
Manualtherapist
I am Dóra Radvánszki, a dedicated manual therapist and physiotherapist.
I consider myself fortunate that my profession is also my vocation. Why? Because each moment spent working brings me a sense of fulfillment, knowing that the therapies I employ have the potential to facilitate healing and set individuals on the path to recovery. I firmly believe that balance is paramount for the seamless functioning of the human body. My years of experience and the knowledge I've acquired through extensive study have reinforced the importance of adopting a holistic approach to healing.
I apply the following therapy methods:
Craniosacral Therapy:
Craniosacral Therapy targets the tissues surrounding the nervous system, thus influencing the functionality of the nervous and hormonal systems. It provides an effective and painless solution for addressing jaw joint issues. This treatment involves a multitude of precise manipulations focused on the bones of the skull and facial structure. Through this therapy, we release blockages within the body, initiating the body's innate self-healing processes.
Craniomandibular Therapy/Jaw Joint Manual Therapy:
This specialized treatment addresses concerns stemming from the chewing joint. Craniomandibular joint therapy necessitates a comprehensive approach, viewing the patient holistically rather than merely addressing the jaw joint. Our treatment encompasses the joint connecting the skull and the first cervical vertebrae, as well as the junction between the 1st and 2nd cervical vertebrae. We extend our attention to the neck-back junction, additional spinal segments, and potential pelvic dysfunctions. Our therapy comprises joint mobilization, muscle relaxation, strength-building, and the restoration of neuromuscular control. We not only work on the external muscles but also assess and treat internal oral muscles. Active exercises are then employed to restore muscle equilibrium.
Common Symptoms of Jaw Problems Include:
- Jaw joint pain
- Clicking or popping sounds during jaw movement
- Pain in the chewing joint
- Discomfort in head and neck muscles
- Pain or restricted mouth opening
- Headaches
- Facial pain
- Frequent tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
- Spinal issues
- Protruding jaw
- Orthodontic treatment at any stage
Our goal is to address the root cause of jaw pain by aligning the jaw joint and the muscles of the head and neck, ultimately promoting lasting relief and improved well-being.
