My name is Dr. László Restár, and I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

I graduated in Medicine in 2011 and in Dentistry in 2014, both with summa cum laude honours. In 2018, I completed my specialist examination in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an excellent qualification.

I have been working in the field of oral surgery for 15 years, gaining extensive experience in both public and private healthcare. My main areas of professional interest are oral oncological surgery and microsurgical reconstruction. In addition, I regularly perform a wide range of conventional oral surgical procedures, from wisdom tooth removal and dental implant placement to complex bone augmentation procedures.

Due to my dual medical and dental qualifications, I consider the integration of general medicine and dentistry particularly important, allowing me to approach patient care comprehensively. I place great emphasis on patients, empathetic communication and creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere, which I believe are essential foundations of trust and successful treatment.

• Reconstruction of extensive bone defects and a wide range of bone augmentation procedures to facilitate implant placement, including sinus lift procedures, lateral and vertical ridge augmentation, the Khoury technique, augmentation using autogenous bone and bone substitute materials, as well as bone grafting from intraoral and extraoral donor sites
• Oral and head and neck cancer screening and examination of neck swellings
• Surgical removal and reconstruction of skin tumours of the head and neck

I regularly give presentations at Hungarian oral surgery congresses and attend international professional conferences and courses every year to continuously deepen my knowledge and expand the range of surgical procedures I offer.
