Schon w\u00e4hrend meines Studiums interessierte ich mich f\u00fcr die Akutmedizin, und so begann ich als An\u00e4sthesist und Intensivmediziner im St\u00e4dtischen Krankenhaus Si\u00f3fok zu arbeiten.<\/p>\n

Seitdem habe ich in mehreren Krankenh\u00e4usern als Intensivmediziner und in der privaten Gesundheitsversorgung als An\u00e4sthesist gearbeitet.<\/p>\n

Seit 12 Jahren f\u00fchre ich Wachsedierungen in der Zahn- und Oralchirurgie durch.<\/p>\n

Eine meiner Fokust\u00e4tigkeiten is die Durchf\u00fchrung von Wachsedierungen bzw. von D\u00e4mmerschlaf. Was genau verbrigt sich dahinter?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der Bedarf an schmerzfreien Eingriffen w\u00e4chst stetig.<\/p>\n

Einer der Bereiche, in denen dies gut m\u00f6glich ist, ist die Zahnmedizin und die Oralchirurgie. Wenn keine intratracheale Narkose erforderlich ist, eignet sich die Wachsedierung. Die Idee besteht darin, dem Patienten eine oberfl\u00e4chliche An\u00e4sthesie zu verabreichen, bei der die Vitalfunktionen - Atmung, Kreislauf - nicht beeintr\u00e4chtigt werden, der Patient aber keine nennenswerte Erinnerung an das Geschehen hat und keine unangenehmen Erfahrungen zur\u00fcckbleiben. Wichtig ist, dass der Patient zu jeder Zeit kommunikativ ist, die Anweisungen versteht und sie befolgt. Eine besonders wichtige Gruppe von Patienten, die sich aufgrund eines ausgepr\u00e4gten W\u00fcrgereflexes \u00fcbergeben und folglich Zahnbehandlungen teilweise unm\u00f6glich werden, k\u00f6nnen mit Hilfe der Sedierung optimal behandelt werden. Auch bei geistig behinderten Patienten, Kindern\/z.B. Autisten oder Patienten mit Down-Syndrom.<\/p>\n

Die Sedierung beginnt mit einer Punktion einer peripheren Vene, dies ist der einzige Schmerz, den der Patient versp\u00fcrt. Die Medikamente - haupts\u00e4chlich Propofol und Midazolam - werden dann in die Vene gespritzt, um eine Sedierung einzuleiten, und durch eine Medikamentenpumpe aufrechtzuerhalten. W\u00e4hrenddessen werden die Vitalzeichen des Patienten \u00fcberwacht (Puls, Sauerstoffs\u00e4ttigung, Blutdruck). Nach dem Eingriff wird der Patient innerhalb weniger Minuten geweckt und mit Anweisungen nach Hause entlassen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
